A wake up call...

Everytime, without fail, the drive through the bridge from JB to Singapore sends shock wave through my body.

The stark difference between what is called a civilised, developed nation and what is called a barbaric, rogue-ish country is devastatingly apparent.

You then question the root of this drastic disparity. Is it because WE as a people are much less than our fellow neighbor? Or is it because of the governance, rather, the lack of governance, that brought about such misfortune to us?

It is perfectly alright for us to feel patriotic to our country and claim that we have heritage and traditions that S'pore sorely lacks, but somewhere along the line, when you pause and have a real good think about it... truly, do we deserve any less????

Should we not be privileged to have a better standard of living? A better environment to live in??? To say the least, a safer place to reside in?!?!!

Something is really wrong with this country...

really really wrong...
