BALI, Day 1...

Departed for Bali on the 1st of June from LCCT at 10.55am.

The plane arrived 25 minutes earlier, which was good, but then i almost got a heart attack when i landed!

See, when you arrived, there are several overhead signboards directing you to the place where you're supposed to register. And there it shows "With Visa" and "Without Visa". All of a sudden, I remembered i didn't do any Visa at all and i was like CRAP!!!!!!!

Luckily, i got auto-roaming on my mobile, and i called up my cousin to check, and this is what i got...

"ASIAN COUNTRIES NO NEED VISA LAR!!!!!! STUPID!!!!!"

Bloody Great start to my Bali Trip.

Upon entering the Arrival Hall, I was having a hard time finding Ed, cuz you know, he's not that tall and outstanding looking. Anyhow... i did manage to catch him, and soon we were off to the "INN".

It wasn't as bad as he said it would be. I mean its a room with 2 beds, a toilet, fan, lights... that's enough by my standard. No hot water though... >.<"

Next thing we know... we were off to the beach. Had some noodle thingy with beef balls. Kinda nice. And then this Edward bought me this STUPID JAGUNG that SUCKS to the MAX. I wanted to throw it, but the people there said its ill omen to throw corns away.

So, i reluctantly gulp the WHOLE corn down. Only to find out that they were making fun of me!!! and this bloody Ed knew it all along!!!! GGGGrrrrr.....

Anyways, while sitting enjoying the nice sea breeze, a group a ladies came to me. First, they inspected my finger nails and toe nails. Then they offered to do manicure and pedicure (however you spell it) for me, at a price of 200,000 Rupiah!!!

Thank god for Ed, he bargained the price for me. So i ended up paying 50,000. Felt like a King though~ HUahahahahaha...

Thereafter, I decided to go Surfing. Ed prompted me to do it actually, cuz i wasn't really ready for it. Then again, i thought~ What the Heck, just do it!

So, paid 80,000 (again, thanks to ed for barterring) to learn how to surf.

It was AWESOME!!!!

THe minute you were able to stand on the surf board you felt as though you were riding the waves. Never would i have imagined it being so thrilling!!!

Its fun to watch Ed though. Hahahaha.. he can NEVER, and i mean NEVER, manage to stand on the surf board. ALWAYS get flung over. HUahaahahahah.... Felt good to beat him.

Having exhauted ourselves, we decided to pamper ourselves by going to a body massage.

Although the lady who massage me was petite, MAN SHE CAN MASSAGE!!!! She had the strength of a bull!!!! I was literally squirming while she was doing the calve of my leg. Damn she was good!

Hahaha... pity Eddy. He asked for a guy but that guy was more of a wush than the girl! Serve him right!! Cuz they said they had only one guy who were able to do the Body Massage, and without even ASKING me, he said he WANTED the guy to massage. Muahahaha... Dai Sei!

Dinner time, we happen to chance by a tour agent, so she recommended me to take a trip to several places tomorrow. I'm gonna do it alone with some other travellers, cuz edward's already been to those places, so i'm kinda excited too.

Later that night, we went clubbing in a place called Bounty.

We were kinda excited at first cuz there was a foam party that was going on. Thing is, the so-called "party" comprises of only 8 people or so people. Kinda pathetic for a foam party.

Disappointed, we went upstairs to their common clubbing area. It was JAM PACKED with WHITES!!! Hardly see any Asians there! Again, it turned out to be quite a bore cuz neither me nor eddy was really into it. We were exhausted from the body massage and surfing session.

We decided to call it quits at 2 plus am.

So that pretty much concludes my first day in Bali!
