Woke up at 9+ this morning. Probably should have woken up later, but i couldn't seem to fall back asleep.
After washing up, I had the little breakfast prepared by the INN. Nothing fancy, just a cup of coffee with a banana sandwich.
Soon after, Ed woke up and had his breakfast. We then decided to visit a shop before my pick-up van arrives for the tour. The reason we absolutely HAVE to visit this shop was because Eddy spent more than HALF an hour bargaining for 5 shirts. He even went so far as to BEG them.
Man... that's just wrong. Like i mean bargaining is one thing, but BEGGING??????
hahahaha... ok, i better not say anymore, cuz if it weren't for his begging, we wouldn't have gotten the price we were getting now.
Anyhow, i went back to Inn to wait for my pickup truck while Edward went surfing. Surfing the NET that is. Hahaha... I suppose that's when he wrote his blog.
Soon after, the Van arrived. There was the driver, the tour guide, and a British Couple. Couple minutes later, we picked up yet another British lady. So all in all, there were the 3 English and the 1 Malaysian - ME.
Along the journey, we managed to chat quite a bit. I was REALLY impressed with the place the third lady has been to! Ok, i should say the Couples are named Matt and Amy, while the last traveller we picked up was called Alexandria. She told us to just address her as Alex.
Alex has been to Germany, Middle East (4 states), America, Mexico, Turkey, France, Thailand, Australia (every single state in australia), Indonesia, Norway, Greece, and many many more places. Best thing is, she is only 27!!!
The first place we visited was the Royal Palace/Temple. Can't really remember the name. Will write it out once i have the photos posted. They had some performance there, with Kebaya costume in Bali Style. Nothing too interesting.
Next, we went to a temple that appears to be floating on the water. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! There were many people around, but i managed to take quite some nice photos. Will load it up once i'm back in Malacca.
Spent quite a while taking photos there, and then we were off to the next destination.
The Van is an absolute TORTURE. The air conditioning isn't working, and its freaking 34+ degrees out there! Its like a free sauna, only we REALLY REALLY didn't want a sauna then!
Oh, they actually grew Strawberries near the Water Temple place. Its sort of like near a mountain region, so the temperature is pretty low. Something like Cameron Highlands. The strawberries taste sweet!!
We were supposed to have Lunch, but non of my British mates felt hungry. As expected of a nice and well-mannered Asian, i said, "Yeah! No Problem! I'm not that hungry anyway." Which was basically a fat lie.
Next, we went to Ed's cousin's temple. The Monkey Temple. Nothing too amazing, just loads of irritating monkeys that tend to snatch things from you. And they smell. Eww~~ Hahaha, Alex was terrified of Monkeys. While walking along a pathway, a monkey decided to feel her ass, and when its hand touched her, she screamed SO loud!! Hahahahha... everyone around just broke out laughing.
Our next destination was a Rock Temple. So named because it was built on a rock. Yes yes yes... i will upload the photos once i get the chance so you know wht i'm talking abuot. Supposingly, this place is SUPERB for watching the sunset.
Too bad it was REALLY cloudy. Doesn't spoil our mood though. We sat in an outdoor cafe there atop the rocks, and managed to chat for more than an hour! I find British to be really humourous people! They are so fun to be with!!
That basically ended our trip. So we headed back to our respective hotels. It was 8.00pm by the time we reach, and Ed was mighty pissed cuz i told him i would be back at aruond 5.00pm. hahahaha... How was i to know right?!?!??!?!?!?
Took a shower, then we went for dinner. STupid crap shop. It looks so small and tiny and cheap so we thought we can have a cheap meal there. Turned up it cost the two of us a total of 45,000 rupiah!!! RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!
So, now here i am, typing in the internet cafe. Edward's done and i had better go now before he gets mad again. Hahahahah...
Oh, i'll remember to stuff some sand into Ed's mouth tomorrow if i remember. We're going surfing again tomorrow, YAY!!!!!
